This is an overdue post. Every Chinese New Year (CNY), my neighbour will engage a lion dance troupe to their house as part of their CNY celebration and for the lions to "blessed" the house.
Ryan looks forward to see the lions in action, prancing around and about to the loud drum beat. He is seen offering angpows to the "lions". For me, it's nice to see this tradition alive and yes, it does add colours to our CNY celebration.
