Ryan had a 1-week break from school and while his friends are enjoying themselves silly at home, Ryan still attending day care as both his parents are working and thus no one to take care of him. He did ask why couldn't stay in (like most of his friends) and we had to explain to him the circumstances. He seems to be able to accept it but somehow mummy feels guilty for not spending enough time with him lately and postponing all planned activities and outings because mummy is not-up-to-it.
So, we decided to spend sometime with him and took a day off last Friday to explore PetroSains, a science exhibit centre, together. It was a surprise trip for him, we had lots of fun and took loads of photos. I'm glad that we made the effort.
